Program

Day 1:
Arrival in Casciana Terme, a typical spa village in Tuscany, and accommodation in the hotel
Possibility of renting a bicycle

Day 2:
The 68 km route (difference in altitude + 1110m) twists and turns along the Wine Route of the Pisan Hills.
Departure from Casciana Terme in the direction of Chianni, then towards Terricciola passing first through Rivalto, the highest and most panoramic point of the route where the view extends from Monte Serra to Volterra. After about four km of descent, winding in the first part, and wide and panoramic in the second part, the ascent to Terricciola Città del Vino begins, which you leave behind on the ridge heading north surrounded by vineyards and olive trees. The next town is Lari with its fortified village and its fortress, then in rapid succession Crespina, Fauglia and Casciana Alta which can be reached after about 3 km of pleasant and panoramic climb.
A few more kilometers and Casciana Terme is there waiting for you.
