After breakfast at the hotel where you will be staying, a dedicated day awaits you in the direction of Pisa (25.4 km), where our guide will be waiting for you, ready to pass on his knowledge for contemporary art in Pisa.
Keith Haring, a well-known American writer and painter and one of the leading interpreters of metropolitan graffiti art, honored Pisa with one of his masterpieces: the mural "Tuttomondo."
On the exterior wall of the rectory of the church of Sant'Antonio Abate, just a few steps from Piazza Vittorio Emanuele II, this open-air artwork is a veritable explosion of color and vitality. The colorful Tuttomondo, painted in 1989, represents energy, peace and harmony, visible through the connections and interlockings among the thirty figures present, in a rhythmic force and vitality.
We offer a guided tour lasting 1 hour and 30 minutes with a local guide, ready to impart all his knowledge and passion for this iconic work.
But it doesn't end there...you will have the opportunity to discover some of Pisa's treasures on a journey through the ages, from the Middle Ages to the Contemporary Age.
After the visit, your guide will accompany you to one of the city's typical restaurants, which will offer you dishes related to the Pisan culinary tradition, always accompanied by excellent wines.
The departure times listed, and those for the entire day, are based with departure from Pontedera, so they are subject to change depending on the location of the accommodation.
